It also celebrated the work of three Puisne Justices: Sir William Webb KBE (1946-58), Sir Charles Powers (1913-29) and the Hon Justice Ian Callinan (1998-present).

Inaugural seminar held as part of the Court's Centenary of Federation celebrations. This gathering was attended more than a hundred members of the legal fraternity. Speakers including former Chief Justices of Australia and Queensland, current judges of the Supreme and High Courts and Australian legal scholars of high standing dealt with a great variety and depth of subject matter, covering some areas of Griffith's work not previously explored by scholars.
