Chief Judge Patricia Wolfe graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree with honours from the University of Queensland in 1978. Following her admission to the Bar in the same year, Judge Wolfe commenced work as a Senior Tutor at the University of Queensland, after which she began her two year employment with Feez Ruthning. In 1983, Judge Wolfe commenced full time private practice at the Bar and, in 1988, was appointed Deputy Commissioner of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. Seven years later, Judge Wolfe was appointed as a Judge of the District Courts and, in 1999, commenced her appointment as Chief Judge of the District Court of Queensland. Judge Wolfe shares a close affiliation with Griffith University and has, since her admittance to the Bar, chaired numerous Commissions.
