The Honourable Margaret Wilson received an open scholarship to university upon her graduation from Clayfield College in the early 1970s'. By 1973, Justice Wilson had obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, and in 1976 graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the same. Three years later, Justice Wilson commenced her 19 year career at the Bar and in 1992 took silk. During her practice at the Bar, Justice Wilson has served on the Litigation Reform Commission, the Legal Aid Board and the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting. In August 1998, Justice Wilson was appointed to the Supreme Court of Queensland.
