The Honourable Justice Debra Mullins completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Queensland in 1977, and three years later graduated with Second Class Honours in Law, also from the University of Queensland. In 1978, Justice Mullins commenced her articles of clerkship with Messrs Kinsey Bennett and Gill, the firm she continued employment with as a solicitor upon completing her clerkship. In 1984, Justice Mullins commenced her 16 year career at the Bar, during which time she served as a part-time member of the Queensland Building Tribunal and the Queensland Law Reform Commission. In 1998, Justice Mullins was appointed as Senior Counsel for Queensland, and in March of 2000 was appointed to the Supreme Court of Queensland.
