Expo ’88

In 1984, Sir Edward was appointed Commissioner General for Expo 88. In this role, his raport with people from all walks of life again contributed to ensuring the success of the event and its importance in Queensland history.


Sir Edward continued his services to sport, playing an important role in Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games
