An Articled Clerk

On 18 February 1940, Edward Stratten Williams began his articles of clerkship with the Cairns law firm, J. F. Fitzgerald and Walsh.

Mr James Fitzgerald had often acted as the Williams family’s solicitor and this close relationship secured a clerkship for Edward.
