Biographical Notes
Before his appointment in 1999 as President of the Land and Resources Tribunal, His Honour had a large private practice at the Bar. He specialised in native title and related fields. He appeared as counsel in numerous cases including some of the most important in Australia’s history – Mabo (No 2) and Wik.
