A feature attraction within the Courts, the Rare Books Room houses the Library’s collection of legal treasures dating from the 16th century.

Reconstructed in 2001, as part of the Centenary of Federation celebrations in Queensland, the Lucinda played an important role in the development of our legal history.

Find out where our laws come from, how our Courts work, the role of juries, how sentences are decided, and a whole lot more through this interactive slideshow presentation produced by the Queensland Courts.
