Opening hours:

8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (closed public holidays)

Access:

Open to researchers during normal opening hours. All members of the public must register their name in the Visitors' Book upon arrival. Practitioners are entitled to apply for after-hours access.

Facilities:

Internet, PCs, printers, photocopiers, micro-fiche

Exhibitions:

Level 2, the Law Courts building

Notes:

No on-site parking, deliveries by prior arrangement

Where:

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but must obtain access via Registry staff.
Restricted access for members of the public – apply to Registrar.

Facilities:

Internet kiosk for access to online legal resources, printer, photocopier

Mackay

Where:

First floor, Old Courthouse Building, Mackay Court, Victoria Street, Mackay

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, but must obtain access via Registry staff.
Restricted access for members of the public – apply to Registry.

Notes:

Maroochydore

Where:

Third floor, Maroochydore Courthouse, Cormeal Parade, Maroochydore

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library 9.00am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but must obtain access via Registry staff.

Facilities:

Photocopier (pre-paid cards are sold by the Law Society)

Mt Isa

Where:

First floor, Mt Isa Courthouse, Isa Street, Mt Isa

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, but must obtain access via Registry staff.

Facilities:

Rockhampton

Where:

Ground floor, Supreme Court, East Street, Rockhampton

Opening hours:

8.30am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday.

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library at other times by applying, in writing, to the Hon Justice Dutney for mil key access.
Restricted access for members of the public, via security.

Facilities:

Toowoomba

Where:

Ground floor, Law Courts Complex, 159 Hume Street, Toowoomba

Access:

Practitioners are able to use the Library 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but must obtain access via Registry staff.

Townsville

Where:

Level A, Supreme Court Townsville, 31 Walker Street, Townsville

Opening hours:

8.00am to 12.00pm, Monday, Thursday and Friday (Please note days and times may occasionally vary)

Access:

Practitioners can access the Library at other times via swipe card – apply to Security staff.
Restricted access for members of the public – apply to Registrar.

Facilities:

Internet kiosk for access to online legal resources, printer, photocopier
